• Mission Statement

We, the members of St. Edmond Roman Catholic Church Parish, Lafayette, Louisiana, believe that we share in the mission of Jesus Christ as expressed in the gospel.  As a Parish, we seek to live out that belief as a community of worship, shared faith and service. We care for the many gifts we have been given and seek to use them wisely.  We are witnesses to the words of Christ. We proclaim His gospel and we are His Church.  We respond with compassion to both the spiritual and corporal needs of those around us.  Our parish life centers on the Eucharist as we celebrate the presence of the Risen Lord as a baptized faith community, we are filled with the Spirit of Jesus who brings new life to us all.
