SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (SEC)
Our next "Safe Environment" training - Initial & Continuing - will be held on Saturday, December 13th beginning @ 10am sharp in the Office. If you plan to help with Religious Education or the Youth Group, if you will be working in the Library, if you are a Sacristan, if your Choir has members under 18, if you volunteer in the Office; in other words, if you might be working with or around the youth of our parish, you need to complete the training for the 2008-2009 school year. There is no limit on the number of registrants, but pre-registration IS needed in order to prepare for the training session. Please call the office @ 981-0874 to pre-register as soon as possible. If you need more information, ask for Fran.

BABYSITTERS NEEDED

PROJECT RACHEL - A POST-ABORTION HEALING MINISTRY
If you or someone you know has been touched by the trauma of abortion, there is someone who understands you; cares about you; does not judge you and helps you with the healing process. A nine-week session will begin soon. Please call 337-289-9366 for confidential information.
PANTRY NEEDS
The St. Edmond pantry is in need of non-food items: toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, detergent, small boxes of washing powder, shampoo, bath soap and deodorant.
Food items needed: small bags of rice, small boxes of potato, jelly, jello, soup (no cream soups, please) spaghetti sauce.
